Women Can Plunge The Toilet Too!
I know being a single parent is hard sometimes. Some people had gender roles while married (man did the grosser jobs, like plunged clogged toilets and take out the trash) while women did a LOT more. Not every household was like that, but mine was. I seriously didn’t notice much difference in ‘my vs his’ jobs when my ex moved out. Less stress, definitely! As for cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, grocery shopping, paying the bills, etc, I did it all, plus working. Only thing I noticed was I had to bring the trash cans to the street. I might be overexerting a tiny bit. But not really. It wasn’t a balance. Some might be fine with that. Either way, as a single parent, there is really no choice. I’m the only adult here!
- Unclog them myself.
- Call my dad (yes, I still do that sometimes).
- Hire a plumber.
- A snake (easy to use but my dad paid about $100 for his).
- A plunger (takes elbow grease but often works).
- Liquid drainer.
