Tips On Remodeling The Bathroom

My bathroom is long overdue for some upkeep and repairs.  Most of it is the same tile from a few decades ago and the walls were painted about 15 years ago.  With that is the shower that has an outdated showerhead that sometimes leaks at the base.  This spring, after I get my tax money, I’m going to be tackling the bathroom as a top priority.  The showerhead will be from Danze since they have an awesome selection and fantastic quality.

My sister sanded down the wall by the shower door and applied a texture to prime the wall. She used a   Wall Patch to fix the damaged wall first. I still am not sure on the color of paint I want to pick out yet.  I’m thinking of maybe a pretty sky blue or maybe a very light purple.  I know I’m overthinking it but I can’t decide.

Next is the countertops.  A plumber replaced the toilet and didn’t realized until after he was done that the toilet was too high to fit under the countertop and so now the lid won’t fit on.  I should have made him put in a different toilet but was too nice about it.  So, I think the best thing is to remove the countertop over the toilet area, since it isn’t really used, and fix the rest of the tiles.  It is a pain to do home improvements but I love when they are all done.
