Teriyaki Chicken Recipe
If you like cooking at home, or really eating home cooked meals, but are busy than you have to check out this amazing MultiPot! I got dinner ready in less than 20 minutes! Normally it takes twice that long. This was my first time using a MultiPot and I was a little hesitant to try it. But I was enticed by the 10 minute cook time for my chicken. So I put on my big-girl pants, got out the manual and dug into learning how to use it. It was actually quiet easy. There is even a test to run with water, to make sure it is working correctly before using it for the first time. I had a few recipes I wanted to try but teriyaki chicken is a favorite of my kids so I thought I’d try it. For this recipe I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts but you can also substitute for other chicken parts or even wings for a party. I’m impressed not only with the quick cook time but the MultiPot was really easy to clean. It can be used for so much more than just a pressure cooker. It is actually a 9-in-one appliance: pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, rice cooker, yogurt maker, sauté pan, and much more!
The Mealthy MultiPot came with the pressure cooker, an extra ring, a cheat sheet, recipe book, two a steamer basket, metal rack, rice scooper and cup, and more. The recipe was super easy and only took a few minutes to prepare.
Everything is added in and I’m reading the instructions to figure out the cooking time. For boneless, skinless chicken it is only 9 minutes! That is amazing to have meat cook so fast.
All done! The chicken and broth actually cooked and it smells amazing.
Here it is plated! I made some rice with green peas for the meal and added green onions for garnish.
Kids loved it and it was fantastic to be able to get a home cooked meal on the table so fast!
