Planning A Fall Wedding
If you are planning a fall wedding than you have to check out some of these great ideas. My best friend’s daughter was just married in October and I thought I’d share some of her fabulous ideas. Some of the ideas are from Pinterest or online. Some are from Minted. Other amazing creations from my friend (she is a party planner). She brought it all together with ideas from the bridge and groom and lots of love mixed in.
Not all fall weddings have to be outdoors but this one was at an amazing location. A historic landmark called Los Penasquitos Adobe, in San Diego, California.
After parking guests got to sign into the ‘guest book’ and pick up a fan and paper umbrella.
In lei of a guest book everyone was asked to put a fingerprint on this art and draw a line to the bride or groom.
Guests could choose either side and had the fans and umbrellas to shade them and cool them off as the clouds came and went.
The bride and groom were escorted down the aisle by their siblings and were wed in the shade of some vintage trees.
The other side of the building was where the reception was held. Guests milled to the other side and were able to grab seats and appetizers.

I love this idea of a table with cards to fill in with advise for the bride and groom. Date ideas and marriage advise.
Super adorable photo booth was inside of this van.
This display was a vintage wine rack stacked full of coffee cups. Each one of a kind. Guests could use them for coffee or other beverages and then were able to take them home afterwards. A tag on each one was a heart-shaped paper that has flower seeds in it. It says, ‘Have a cup of Joe, then take the mug home’ and ‘plant me’ on the other side.
Sunflowers and mums were the perfect color combo for the fall theme.
The bride didn’t want a cake and is vegan so the dessert table had a large assortment of candies and cookies in fall theme that are all vegan. Donuts instead of a cake too.Creative chalkboard signs are so cute!
The day pasted quickly after good and toasts and lots of photos and mingling. Guests were allowed to take home the fans and paper umbrellas and were also given this mini-burlap bags filled with a natural, handmade coffee soap scrub and a skeleton bride and groom card that says ‘C and C November 17th’ on it. Matching thank you cards were ordered too. Both by Minted.
I love how well all of this came together. Besides appetizers there was also a taco truck (all vegan). The weather was great and it was a perfect day for a wedding.
