Pirate Family Dinner
We had a fantastic time at Pirate Family Dinner in Buena Park. It is a live show with drinks, dinner and dessert. Some people from the audience were even pulled up on stage. When we arrived we checked in and were told we were on the Red Team! Woot! My daughter’s favorite color.
We also received bandannas and flags to wave at ‘our’ pirate.
The meal choices were simple, beef or chicken. I think they had a vegetarian one as well. The kids chose the beef one. It was packed full, covering the whole plate.
The chicken was a huge leg & thigh section with rice and veggies. This is what I got and it was delicious. Very tender and well seasoned.
We also were given dessert. Vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce.

The show was fantastic with pirates flying on ropes all over the place. Songs, battles, great plot. They requested ‘no flash photography’ so the pictures aren’t super quality but the show was great.

Our pirate, the red one, shimmied up this like it was nothing. He was in fantastic shape (and nice eye candy) and was great at engaging his ‘red team’ to cheer for him.
There he is. Our red pirate. It was great seeing all the teams in the audience cheering and booing the opposite ones. Everyone had a blast and was engaged in the whole show. I’m glad we went to this show. It was a first for all of us. We’d been to their sister company, Medieval Times, a few times and loved it so knew this place would be awesome too.
