National Waffle Day
Celebrate National Waffle Day with this amazing kid-friendly cheesy recipe with Jarlsberg cheese. Perfect for lunch or dinner for the whole family. You can even add an egg inside and serve it for breakfast. Cheese is so versatile and my kids love cheese in/on everything. Sandwiches, quesadillas, pizza, even sprinkled on a salad or melted on asparagus. Sometimes cheese makes the difference in them picking at their food or asking for seconds. Jarlsberg cheese are made in the USA and come in a variety from skim to smoked cheese. They are all from dairy cows and are gluten-free and a great source of protein.
For me, I like adding cheese with another food to keep my blood sugar from spiking. Having some cheese with an apple is a great way to enjoy fruit and have some protein at the same time. Cheese is also something I can take with me, when I’m running out the door but want a snack. It isn’t messy and it is something I can have with some crackers or fruit.
