LA Parking, Freeway Traffic, Commuting;
All With Comfort in Kia Sedona
This was a huge ‘run all around L.A.’ week for me. I had a few blogging events going on, on top of taking kids to their homeschool classes, sports and music lessons. It was a very busy week made super comfy traveling in the Kia Sedona SXL. My first thoughts on the car were how long it was and yet aerodynamic. I’m familiar with Kia cars but I’d never driven a Kia Sedona (and especially not a 2016 one). The car had all of the new features and more. The double moon roof is classy and the kids really loved the leg room. They had extra room, sitting behind me, and they are 5’9″ and 6’0″. That has never happened in a car before. They car maneuvered nicely. Power steering was fantastic. I love the backup cameras, how I have to option to fold in the side mirrors automatically (great when parking in a crowded lot) and since I did a lot of driving around during the week I noticed how comfortable the driver’s seat was. Loved the option to put A/C or heater on the seat and steering wheel too.
The radio and systems display and front console had so many buttons! Actually easy to figure out by playing around but it was blown away but how much luxury was in this car. Even sliding compartment covers. Great to put something out of site if you are leaving it in the car. The middle seats completely reclined. The back moved lower and there was even a foot rest. Like movie designer movie theater seats. There was even a tv in the car. We didn’t try out the very back row but the trunk area was pleasantly large. In the course of the week it fit:
1- A full size cello.
2- 40 cardboard trashcans (collapsed but still two big bundles).
3- A week’s worth of groceries.
4- School backpacks, lunch bags and jackets.
5- Track bag full of clothing, shoes, spikes, water bottles, etc.
All without folding the back row of seats flat.
Monday through Friday I had a million every-day errands. Music lessons, sports, homeschool classes, grocery store, bank, etc. On the weekend I had two large blogging events that were a bit further away. The first was the Long Beach Travel and Adventure Show. Drive was 1 1/2 hours (each way) and my best friend went with me. We’d never been to this show but we always have fun wherever we go and I love visiting the city of Long Beach. There was a few events going on in that area so we ended up parking about 1/2 mile away and walking to the building. Parking was insane and I’m super glad this Kia Sedona had fold-in mirrors.
The Long Beach Travel and Adventure Show had vendors from all over the U.S. and other countries, selling travel packages, talking about exciting new trips and more. Wine tasting in Napa. Train ride to the Grand Canyon with Amtrak. A lot of companies from all over Asia promoting travel.
Handmade Flower Arrangements
There were a lot of people dressed in clothing of their cultures walking around too and even some presentations and dancing.
I was trying to get a photo of this man with Google Glasses on snow skis and a life-size Mascot Photobombed the picture.
It free viagra samples will help you get the knowledge in a better manner. It may be perfectly legal for these foreign stores to sell free viagra samples in their country, but if you want to know about the best and budget-friendly medicine, the name should be Kamagra. In most of the cases, the treatment is provided by medicines. buy viagra india is a perfect ED drug and it is available in branded and generic forms differ in inactive factors but they are found to carry equal amount of effective compositions. For that uninsured cost cialis or underinsured who are not able to purchase the right computer for yourself then the investment is not worth.
We walked around the Travel and Adventure show for a few hours and got quite a bit of information on some local travel. I want to take my family to Catalina Island soon and was happy to see a few venders with maps, upcoming events and places to visit while on the island. There wasn’t much for food at the show. We spent a few hours there and stopped for Mexican food on the way home in the San Fernando Valley.
The following day we were back in Los Angeles. This time for a first ever Seafood Boil put on by Solo Foods. The drive was about an hour each way and there was zero parking. Again, we had to park a few blocks away. The Kia Sedona fit nicely on a side street that offered very little room.
My selfie with the Crab Man
Over 200 people attended this event! Top L.A. Chefs, celebs, bloggers and more attended while cooks served freshly boiled lobster, crabs, shrimp, crawfish and some veggies. This event was a blast! There were a few wine companies serving drinks, a live DJ plus a ‘best homemade salsa’ contest.
Just a few of the crabs on ice and a crawfish crawling around in the middle.
Headlights Shine For A Hundred Yards!
Maybe further. Not even the high beams. The regular headlights really illuminated the street! Sounds like something silly to be impressed with but when I’m driving in an unfamiliar city and need to watch out for children, cats, etc plus read street signs, it is important to be able to see well.
The kids loved the leg room!
The space between the seats was nice too. The Kia Sedona is the roomiest car I’ve ever been in. Definitely going to be on the list when I’m on the market for a new car. This car was sporty yet had the space and room like a van or something huge. We traveled well in it and really enjoyed all of the features.

Love it! It looks great! I had no idea that Kia makes Minivans. We are in dire need of replacement and I’ll make sure to take this for a test drive. With all the kids carseats we have, plus our dog we need this kind of room. It also looks luxurious for me up front. They really thought of everything!

Definitely an eventful week! The crab man selfie was pretty funny! While in not a van person, that leg room looks amazing!
