Fun Day At Universal Studios

Despicable Me & Super Silly Fun Land.

This week I had the awesome opportunity to bring my sister and our kids to Universal Studios in Hollywood, California.  I hadn’t been to Universal Studios in over 20 years (boy had it changed) and my children had only gone once (with their dad) a long time ago.  We went specifically to check out Despicable Me Minion Mayhem and the Super Silly Fun Land.  We toured the whole top top-to-bottom and back again and spent the entire day there.

We went prepared for the Super Silly Fun Land,  Super Silly Fun Land, an all-new elaborate wet & dry play zone unique to the park and adjacent to their “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” 3D Ride.   We knew we’d get wet so we planned ahead and brought a change of clothing.   The Super Silly Fun Land is great for kids of all ages.  Even little ones were able to stay entertained and cool for hours on end.

Minions were available for photo opps at the park and the kids loved seeing them! Something fun to look forward to while waiting for a ride.

We also found The Simpsons.  *That is me, in the middle.  In the gift shop they had all sorts of The Simpson’s themed gifts.  The kids bought gigantic pink sprinkle donuts.

Another Minion photo opp!  The kids had an absolute blast exploring the whole park.  They loved the Super Silly Fun Land the best.  I loved seeing the Apollo 13 props.  We will definitely be going back soon.  Living in California and having great weather has terrific advantages! It is always a great time to go to Universal Studios.
