1- Shop well known sites. You can also sign up for store’s newsletter or email alerts. You will get notified of their sale prices. Waiting for holiday sales doesn’t always apply to online shopping. An online store might not have a Labor Day sale. But most have Black Friday and Cyber Monday Sales. Shop around and find the best price.
2- Find sites that sell new and used items. That way you can choose something ‘like new’ and get items at a fraction of the cost of buying them new. You might even find things you want to sell of your own on the same sites.
3- Find a site you love and make sure they have cheap or free shipping and a good return policy. This way you can grab a bargain with some of the best online deals and still be protected if something arrives that doesn’t fit or doesn’t match the description.
4- Make sure you are shopping on a site with the ‘lock’ if you are using a credit card to pay. The lock (secure sockets layer) should be encryption installed on any site you shop on. This helps protect you and your card.
All in all internet shopping is definitely here to stay. But it is up to you to be safe about it and research ways to find sales online.
