Back to school might be different for kids and teachers this year. After a long year and a half of covid restrictions many are going back on campus, but with masks. Some will be social distancing, others will be doing something different, like smaller class sizes, some on Zoom. But no matter what, there will still be teachers, trying their hardest, and kids there to learn and meet new friends. This might take a while until we are all back to normal again but we can still find the basics in toys, good books, hands-on learning, educational fun and more.
Books are a great way to learn, explore, go on adventures and more! I love these from National Geographic Kids. They have new ones each year and kids love reading them (my dad does too)! Color photos, fascinating information and riveting tales in each book. In addition, kids can dive into other titles, including adventures with Lizzy Newton.
If you are at home a lot, want some fun after school or want to bring these ideas to school than you’d love these hands-on learning. The kids will learn about the environment and global warming in the Adventerra Games and the Storytime Chess is a fun modern chess game with unique character pieces.
