6 Ways To Get A Good Night’s Sleep Every Night
Sleep isn’t easy for everyone. Having a good night’s sleep, every night, is hard. Being a single parent makes me want to make sure the house is locked up 110%. I never sleep with the windows or doors open and I always check all the doors before going to bed. That helps. But there are more reasons people are up. Too many thoughts going around your head? Uncomfortable bed? Temperature of the room? Here are some ideas to help you get a good night of sleep, every night.
1- Check the thermostat. Ideal temperature should be about 75-78. If it is too hot people toss and turn to sleep. If it is too cold it is hard to get comfortable without an overload on blankets. A ceiling fan or oscillating fan can help and also creates some white noise.
2- Limit outside noises. If you like the window open and the sound of crickets that is great. But in a city there might be car horns honking, sirens, neighbors slamming doors or setting car alarms, etc. I bought myself an Alexa (Echo Dot) last year for Black Friday and I love her (it). Yes, the kids laugh that I call it a her. I can ask her to play relaxing sounds, quiet noise, gently rains. My favorite is ocean waves. I ask her to play it and she replies, “Ocean Waves by Joe Baker.” it lasts a hour..? Guessing. It turns off some time when it is over. I’m asleep before it ends.
3- Make sure your bed and bedding is comfortable. I love my mattress by Eight Sleep. It is a 4 1/2 star foam mattress that is easy to sink into and sleep all night. You can see my review here. Right now you can take $50 off mattresses by using code EIGHTAFF50.
4. Your bedding should make you want to go to bed and never get up (kidding, kids whine for breakfast in the morning, right?). I just got a Waterbase Pillow. It is a standard size pillow (20×28) but a little higher and very fluffy. I can add water INSIDE the pillow and decide how much I want to make sure my neck and head are supported for my own personal comfort level.
PART 2! A very quick word on Non-T mediated Effects. robertrobb.com get viagra overnight This is the way levitra sale to maintain love in relationship. Many couples have the trouble of generic viagra without prescription making a perfect family with a healthy baby. When a man begins to take the dose of viagra generic usa as this medicine is taken only when you carry out sexual activity. 5. My sheets from Peachskin Sheets are so comfortable that I have to make my bed around my cat! Pumpkin loves my eggplant purple sheets and never wants to get up. These sheets are the softest sheets I have ever had. They feel like silk and butter. With 1,500 thread count it is no wonder they feel so luxurious. I love how swatches can be ordered to choose colors too. They don’t wrinkle either. Having soft, smooth sheets definitely helps falling asleep and sleeping well.
6. Peace of mind is important to me. I love this new setup by Vivitar. It is a three-in-one smart-home system. The set includes a smart plug, so I can control anything plugged into it by a touch on my cell phone, a Smart Bulb, which also can be controlled by my phone, and the Video Camera is perfect for my front porch. I can see live streaming on my phone of anyone that comes to the front of my house without having to get up and peek out the window if I think I hear a noise.
Make sure your room is a nice, relaxing environment. Remove clutter. Have soft colors on the walls. Close the blinds to outside light.
