Cinnamon Toast Crunch Apple Crumble
& Reese Puffs Cheesecake
I made two different recipes with some boxes of cereal I received from General Mills. I received four boxes and made recipes with two of them. I also received a Mega Bloks collectible car kit.
First I made two cheesecakes with a Reese Puffs crust.
Then I made some Apple Pie Crumble with some Cinnamon Toast Crunch for a crust and the top.
The pies were delicious and definitely awesome! Great time to try out recipes since the holidays are around the corner.
I posted on my Facebook, trying to find some cool recipes to do with cereal and some friends posted these. I modified them to suit my tastes but I’m thankful to my friends for helping me out.
Two cheesecakes. One browned more on top from cooking a little longer. Both have a Reese Puff’s crust.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Apple Pie Crumble- a few pics of the process.

- Filling:
- 8 baking apples.
- 1/4 cup butter.
- 1/2 cup sugar.
- 2teaspoon cinnamon.
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg.
- Pastry:
- 2 cups of flour.
- 1 cup of chilled water.
- 2 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal.
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg.
- Crumble:
- 1 cup flour.
- 1/2 cup rolled oats.
- 1/3 cup coconut (optional).
- 1/2 cup butter.
- 2 cup Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.
- Pie Crust:
- Add flour and cereal to food processor until crushed. I don’t have a food processor so I used the back of a cup to completely crush the cereal and then I added the flour and mixed them. Add chilled water.
- Roll into ball, cover and refrigerate for 1 hr.
- Filling:
- Melt butter and sugar on medium heat. Add cinnamon and nutmeg. Mix. Add apples (diced, cored and sliced). Cook while stirring for aprox. 10 minutes, until applies are soft.
- Pour into crust.
- Roll out pie crust and flatten into pie pan.
- Add filling on top.
- Crumble:
- Add flour, oats, cereal and butter in bowl and squish and squeeze until it forms a crumble.
- Add to the top of the pie.
- Cook in oven at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
- Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

You had me at cheesecake! I’m a cheesecake addict though I have never made it with Reese’s Puff cereal before. Looks Delicious!!! Cinnamon Toast Crunch Apple Crumble pie…I’m going to have to try that. I have done the cinnamon toast crunch as a cheesecake crust and it was so good.
