Family Chicken Pot Pie
I received five awesome kitchen tools to add to my collection from Good Cook. A great way to build up my kitchen drawer inventory to help me create delicious and healthy meals for my family. I received five essential cookware items:
- Egg separator.

- One Box Pie Crust (or premade refrigerated pie crust). You need two pie crusts for this recipe. Most boxes have two per box.
- Two cups of diced cooked chicken.
- Two cups of mixed frozen vegetables. Grab what you have. This is a good ‘add in leftovers’ recipe.
- One can of condensed Cream of Chicken Soup.
- 1 Tablespoon of melted butter.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Make pie crust according to instructions.
- Line the bottom of a bread loaf and up the sides with the rolled out pie crust.
- Mix chicken, frozen vegetables and can of soup together and spoon into the bread pan.
- Make second pie crust and cover the top of the mix, tucking in around the corners of the pan.
- Lightly brush top of pie crust with butter.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
I used the Safe-Cut Can Opener for the soup can.
My daughter helped roll out the dough ball to make the pie crust.We put the pie crust into the loaf pan and added the chicken/vegetable/soup mix on top.
We put the second rolled out pie crust on top and then brushed the top with butter to help create a nice golden crust. I added an extra baking sheet underneath, just in case the filling bubbled over. Here is our finished creation.
Family Chicken Pot Pie.I used a spatula to cut and serve this. It was a great hit with some leftover.
