5 Ways To Have A Successful Family Game Night
Family game night can be a fun tradition for the whole family. Get some delicious snacks and some fun games and spend the evening staying in. Great for rainy days or make it a Friday night tradition. Plan ahead from dinner to bedtime. You can even make a schedule of how long on each game until it is time to rotate. This was if you have different age groups they all have turns on games that interest them. Things you need: Games, meal planning, snacks, dessert and other things you want to do as a family. Once you do it a few times it is easier to know what you need and plan head. Keep from running to the kitchen, game cabinet, back to the living room, etc. Have stations set up and let the kids help.

Make Dinner Ahead of Time
Plan dinner so you aren’t slaving in the kitchen and then too tired to have fun. I like cooking in the crockpot so I can put food in around lunch time and the meal will be ready for dinner. Check out my Chicken Noodle Soup recipe. Easy to make and at dinner time just grab some bowls and spoons.

Family Fun can also include doing other things that aren’t board games. Teach your kids how to braid hair, do some facials, create obstacle courses, go for an evening walk, do some pampering. Make Sure Everyone Is Included
If you have a family of mixed ages chances are a 15-year-old isn’t going to want to play a preschool game and vise-a-versa. Create teams, take turns, you can even play some older-kid-games while younger ones are helpers or keep score. If they kids are done with the games and the evening is still young have a movie planned that is PG for the whole family.
