5 Things I Love About My Cricut
I’m loving my Cricut Maker and all the extra fun and exciting things I got with it. I can make so much in terms of arts, crafts, gift ideas, things for work, etc. I’m sure there are a million more that I haven’t learned yet too. Everytime I look on the Cricut.com or Pinterest I see new things and get more ideas. I’ve only made a few things, so far, but am learning as I go and I know there is so much more to learn. I remember years ago an aunt gave kitchen towels to the family at a Christmas party with our last names on them inside a pretty red gingham wreath. I was amazed by it and didn’t know she did it with a Cricut Maker until later. There are a few Cricut models out there. The brand new one I have is the Explorer Air 2. I also have the Press and Mini Press.
1- I love how I can make Personalized Gifts For My Family and Friends!
I’ve make a Christmas stocking, a personalized water bottle, greeting cards and more. Being able to put someone’s name on a gift makes it just for them. Especially if they have a name that has an untraditional spelling. This applies to my kids and lots of friend’s kids.

Greeting cards can be custom to something going on in someone’s life and I can do it from home and not have to go shopping for a card. Plus it is a lot cheaper than the cost of most greeting cards in the store.
2- I can work from my laptop or desktop. I can use the Cricut wirelessly and even have it in another room for easier storage. There is so much flexibility with it. I can also download templates from Cricut.com . They even had some free ones for Breast Cancer Awareness in October. All of this is available online.
3- Cricut has amazing customer service. If I can’t figure something out, can’t connect it, can’t get a download to work, can’t print correctly, etc… I can call them and they’ll bend over backwards to help me. They even stayed on the line to make sure it worked. I love how friendly they are and the hold time was very short.
4- I love how there are so many accessories that work with my Cricut! I just got the EasyPress 2 (haven’t tried it out yet) and an Easy Press Mini. The mini is great for small projects, like the side of a shoe or a hat. The Easy Press 2 is great for larger sized iron-ons.
Here are just a few of the of the new accessories I received. Mats, different pens etc.
5- I love these big projects I can do too. Like the vinyls on my little library. I have them on all three sides so the people in my neighborhood can see it and check out books for free.
I love that I can use the Cricut with my kids and get awesome ideas from them as well as online. This is something we can do together. As we learn more and my kids age the things we use our Cricut for will change and I’m glad all we might ever want is available online or at a local craft store. I decided it was a great idea to create a Cricut board on Pinterest. That way I can show off my creations to others and pin ideas of things I want to make. If you have any crafts you’d like me to add to my board let me know.

We’re Gonna Need A Bigger Boat
Here is a GIGANTIC project I’m helping a friend with at her work. She works at Hook’s Sportfishing out in Oxnard and there is so much (I never knew about) that the Cricut can be used for! I’ll be doing a new blog post about the store. We printed on vinyl and put them up everywhere!
The front window has a whole new look. There is also new lettering on the ice box, the boat and more. I am loving how easy it was and it looks fantastic!
Some more upcoming crafts; The bird house and dinosaur. Going to wait until school is out for Thanksgiving break to do them with my nieces.
I also want to make bookmarks for my Little Library. My son wants to make some ‘gone fishing’ shirts. I think I’m going to need a GoFundMe just to keep up with the supplies we will need! (kidding). But I am excited.
Keep an eye out for Cricut Black Friday Sales (they should be available soon) for amazing deals on machines and supplies. I’m thinking of adding another desk space in my house with shelves just for all of my Cricut inventory (not kidding). Would love to know what others do if you don’t have a spare bedroom as a craft room.
If you have any fabulous Cricut ideas please let me know! If you love these personalized gifts but you aren’t crafty you can check out Made By Majenica VIP for cute ideas available for purchase.
If you have some ideas of what I can make with Hello Kitty and Nightmare Before Christmas vinyl let me know! I have both but am not sure what I want to do with them yet. I have a friend that is a diehard Hello Kitty fan so I want to make her something special for Christmas.
