2018 Halloween Gift Guide
I’m so excited that Halloween is here! Time for candy and costumes. Parties and trick-or-treating. Lots of decorations too. Having teens means it is a little harder with costumes. They want costumes that are popular yet are fitting into costumes that are adult size. I love all of these awesome Halloween gift guide items I’ve found and am excited to share them. Here are some, in no particular order, for you to enjoy. If you like them you can click the links or photos to shop the stores. I love all the fun around Halloween. These are super amazing pants by Meggings. They are not actually Halloween clothing. But my son wants them for a costume he is working on. Meggins are men-leggins (ie leggins for men). They come in a huge variety and sizes. The golden fanny pack is from them too.
We also got these Poison Apple pants from Meggins. There is so much that can be done with them besides Halloween. I’m sure my son will have a blast wearing them. Not only are they totally stylish, they are really soft and comfortable to wear. If you want to have a low-key costume you can do something that only The Office people will get with this Dunder Mifflin Inc Paper Company hoodie. Both of my kids love this show! I’m dying laughing at this costume. My son’s pose is so perfect too. If you don’t know this show- you won’t get it. This is from the tv show Wilfred. A backpack is perfect to store candy, a hoodie or parts of a costume that were removed while trick-or-treating, etc. and if the kids don’t want to hold it, it is easy to slip on the back for anyone. Candy can be put in the pockets to sort when at home. The backpack also has reflectors on it (great for being out in the dark). I could change the card color and the font plus the gift tags have their initials. All these (plus so much more to choose from) are from Minted.
This has to be the crazies Halloween prop ever! If not, it takes the cake in my house. This is a Scary Peeper. You can attach it to any window, using suction cups, to freak out your family. There are a few to choose from, including an animated one with a finger that taps on the glass. My family is one for pranks, so this would be great to sneak and put up at my dad’s house too.
If you have pets than check out these cat costumes (some work for small dogs too). We received a spider, sailor and lion costumes. Our cats weren’t too keen on wearing them but they aren’t used to wearing costumes either. Hopefully trying them out or having the costumes around our cats, so they get familiar with the smell) will help. They are from Pet Krewe. I love that a portion of every purchase goes to local animal shelters and shipping is free. Some costumes, like the lion, are just on the head and others, like the spider, are over the body. See what your cat or dog is comfortable with.

We still put up decorations, dress up and hand out candy. As long as you are having fun and making memories- it is up to you to decide what to do on Halloween.
