Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts
Mother’s Day is Sunday and there are many out there that have not yet gone shopping. Here are a few last minute ideas for those that haven’t shopped yet. These are for moms nearby or across the states. Make sure you find a way to send love to them.
Order Flowers. Really. You can order flowers from Teleflora and they will contact a local florist, near you, to deliver freshly made flowers to our door. I ordered the Teleflora’s Artisanal Beauty Bouque in a gorgeous vase. The local flower shop, Flowers By Maria, even called to verify I would be home for delivery. I can even use the vase afterwards as a pitcher since it is food-quality grade.
CardFool has creative, fun and hilarious cards for moms, MIL’s, grandmas or your BFF’s. I know I’ll be mailing one to my grandma and giving one to my mom.
Not for all moms, but bet a few would love this shirt from Five finger Tees. I picked out this shirt for myself! They have a huge selection of nature, geeky, memes and more.
If the way to the stomach is good food than the way to the bedroom and better romance is a nice glass of wine. DuVino Wine Glasses come in a variety of humors designs. Perfect for wine lovers and a great way to show you care with a personalized wine glass. I love the height of the glass and how thick the glass it. It is sturdy and nicely. This one has a nice definition to a mom. ‘A person who does the work of twenty for free and deserves wine now.’ I’d love to have a set of all the ‘mother’ ones they have.
I love a new cookbook. Seriously. I like to try out new recipes with the kids. Discover ones I never tried. Some are trial and error. Finding recipes from other cultures and countries is fun and educational too. I love this book, Appalachian Appetite by Susi Gott Seguret. Many I’d never heard of and most I’ve never tried.
Some body-care is always good. Check out this brand new product called Sugar Texturing Spray. I’ve used salt sprays before but this is a first for me. It smells good and is a great way to add texture and volume to hair. It is great with curls too.
Give someone a relaxing bath with products by Village Naturals Aromatherapy. The Tea Tree Sweet Orange Bath Melts have shea butter and cocoa butter in them. They also have essential oils, Botanical bath tea and I love the coca butter bar that looks like a candy bar. It is a personal bath treat for some quiet time with candles and a good book in the tub.
