I was super excited to try out Oofos sandals. I’d never heard of them before but thought they looked spiffy! I was surprised when I tried them on. I felt like I was walking in a bouncy house. Not quiet THAT bouncy but pretty darn close. Their shoes aren’t just sandals. They are more like a sports shoe.
According to their website; ”
The OOFOS Technology is based around a proprietary technology of OOFOAM that absorbs 37% of impact and shock. The OOFOS Sandals are like no other Sandal on the market. A premier recovery sandal that is the softest and and most supportive sandal out there. Check out our Family of OOFOS Footwear.
The shoes have a little bit of the pitch in the front and back so I felt like my calves were getting a work out while I wore them in my every-day routine.
Besides this awesome fuchsia color, they also come in tangerine, black and mocha and come in men and women sizes.
I chose the pink becuase it isn’t too often I can pick a bright color for shoes.
Oofos don’t only have sandals. They also have insoles that are great for flat feet, runners and for a more comfortable fit in your shoes.
You can check out their amazing products on the Oofos website. They can also be found on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
My nieces are in for a amazing surprise this Christmas. They will be opening a Build A Dream Playhouse. I received it in the mail and it looks just as awesome as it does on the website. If you don’t know what a Dream Playhouse is you just have to check them out!! They have six pop-up buildings or cars to choose from. They are made out of cardboard and are eco-friendly. Once assembled kids have unlimited possibilities for coloring and decorating. Sticker kits can be purchased at an additional cost.
The Build A Dream Playhouse I picked is the ice cream truck. I thought it was gender neutral, the girls can pretend to drive and it was roomy for them to both fit in.
Kids young and old can enjoy the old fashioned part of having fun with a cardboard box. Mix in a shape of a castle, van, lemonade stand, etc. add some crayons and markers and Voila! Fun for everyone.
I have decided to take on a 90-day weightloss challenge to lose weight, and get in better shape.
I am using a 90-Day Mango Weightloss supplement by Creative Bioscience.
Currently I am watching my calorie intake, taking a 1 1/2 hour brisk walk once a week and playing kickball twice a week. I’d like to try to add two more days of exercise to this. Overall I want to get my weight back to what it was prior to my neck surgery 4 years ago (yes I have clearance from doctor to work out and of good health). I want to be able to run quicker and harder in kickball so I can make it to first base and around the bases quicker too.
I have an overall goal for how much weight I want to lose but for the first 90-days but I think a goal of 40 pounds is a good start. I will still have more weight to lose after the first 90-days but I know if I lost 40 pounds I’d feel sexier, be in better health and be more motivated to tackle the remaining weight I have to lose with more vigor.
Any other bloggers that want to try this challange with my you can click here to sign-up: Creative Bioscience.
I am excited to announce Mom Are We There Yet has an upcoming blog review for Educational Toys Planet. Since we homeschool we often are on the look out for hands-on educational toys. We found it with Educational Toys Planet. They have toys ranging from the ‘0-12 month’ range up to ’10 and up’ range. I viewed their website and saw over a hundred items my kids would love. Limiting my shopping on their site is sheer willpower. It is a surprise what we will receive but I’m jubilant at the opportunity!
When I first heard of the Skoy sponges I sort of scoffed. They did not sound very impressive. In my head I was thinking of those special towels that dry cars and wring out very well! When I received them I thought they were pretty but still wasn’t convinced. First time I used one to wash my dishes… I was sold!!
The Skoy come in a few colors with a pretty flower design but don’t let the looks fool you. These things are wonderful. They are like a kitchen sponge combine with a paper towel. You can use them to wipe down countertops, soak up spills or clean dishes.
I tried them first on the dishes and was totally shocked. I expected them to be fragile or tear but they are touch and held together nicely. Their raised surface was great at scrubbing without being abrasive.
I love using these and am delighted with them. Just one Skoy is equivalent to 15 rolls of paper towels. Less paper waste is better for the environment.
You can find more about Skoy on their website, Facebook or Twitter.
