Birthday Cake Popcorn Recipe: Happy Birthday California
I love creating new recipes with my kids. This one is a great way to talk about the history of California while having a yummy snack. Grab some popcorn and teach your kids about the history of your state or the U.S. September 9th is California’s Birthday! We are celebrating with Gaslamp Popcorn. This recipe for Birthday Cake Popcorn is a Gaslamp Popcorn creation.
Gaslamp Popcorn is in San Diego, California. I love their handcrafted popcorn that is low in calories, GMO-free, gluten free and has healthy ingredients.
What do you think of when you hear California?
- Gold rush?
- The land of milk and honey?
- The endless beaches, Muscle Beach & Venice Beach?
- In & Out burgers?
We all have our own thoughts of what California means to them. For me, it is great weather and having the beach, desert and snow all within 1 hour away. We do have traffic but it is worth it for all we get in exchange. Crazy how California is only 167 years old!
