LOOOVIN’ Our Real Kids Shades- Sunglasses For Kids

I have to admit. I am one of those moms that pull up at the park and put my kids’ sunscreen on when we first get there. I slack at remembering to do it at home and forgot the importance of sun protection. Like sunscreen, sunglasses are just as important to protect their eyes. Real Kids Shades thinks eye protection for children is important and they do it with style.

They currently offer protective eyewear for that vary in color and size depending on the age of your child. They also work closely with Prevent Blindness America to educate the public on the importance of protecting children’s eyes. Real Kids Shades make durable, high quality sunglasses that are perfect for children from newborns to 12 years of age.
Real Kids Shades are specifically constructed to fit kids’ faces and their lifestyles. The even have Extreme Sport models for kids that are a little more rough and tough or in sports. They are also 100% UV protection (UVA & UVB).

My kids LOVE their Real Kids Shades.  and the feel cool wearing them.  The fit well and look good.  This is the first time, ever, my children have worn sunglasses for more than a few hours.

You can find more information on the Real Kids Shades website, Facebook or  Twitter.

Don’t  be fooled into letting your child wear cute sunglasses they got in a birthday party grabbag.  They can cause more damage than not wearing sunglasses.  Children and adults alike should protect their eyes from the sun and to do it with style encourages the kids to keep wearing them.

  1. I love Real Kids Shades, and more people should be wearing them. I didn’t know fake sunglasses could do more damage than none! Thanks for informing!

Its because if they are tinted and a person’s eyes are dilated the sun is getting in more. The glasses have to be UV protected to protect the eyes. :-)
